Early Learning Centre Assistant - 2020Part Time - Certificate 3 Early Childhood Education Required St Catherine’s School, Toorak is seeking expressions of interest for a Diploma qualified Lunchtime Assistant to join our Early Learning Centre team. St Catherine's has an outstanding reputation in early childhood education and our program is underpinned by the world-renowned Reggio Emilia philosophy celebrating the natural wonder and curiosity of children and fostering a life-long love of learning in all children.Our Lunchtime Assistants provide assistance with lunchtime set up, clean up and supervision. The role involves preparation of the siesta area and supervising transition to siesta, including supervision of the bathroom routine and settling the children into their beds.Ongoing, the role may also entail working Limited Tenure, Full time hours as needed to cover for various leave requirements.Applicants must enjoy working with young children, be reliable and able to demonstrate initiative. At a minimum, Lunchtime Assistants are required from 12pm to 2pm 5 days per week.
