Learn to Swim Instructors 2018

St Catherine’s School, Toorak provides a range of aquatic programs in our state of the art Aquatic Centre.Our Learn to Swim program is offered three afternoons per week and aims to provide our students with the fundamentals of good stroke technique, water safety skills and knowledge to be safer around aquatic environments.  St Catherine’s School is currently seeking applications for qualified Learn to Swim Instructors to join our Aquatic program in 2018.Successful candidates will:Hold a current AUSTSWIM (Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety) or Swim Australia Teacher qualificationHold a Level 2 First Aid and CPR qualificationBe willing to obtain a Working with Children Check and Police Record CheckDemonstrate previous experience in delivery of learn to swim programBe reliable and willing to work as part of a team.Teacher of Competitive Strokes qualification and Pool Lifeguard qualification would be highly desirable as progression into Squad Coaching is available for the right candidate.To apply please visit our website http://www.stcatherines.net.au/employment/ addressing your cover letter and resume to the Principal.
