PT / Casual – Maintenance Assistant

Located in Toorak, St Catherine's School is set on one campus and the School's historic buildings and modern refurbishments provide our students with a beautiful and comfortable learning environment. We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Assistant to work 2 days a week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) on either a Part Time contract until June 2020, or as an ongoing casual.The Maintenance Assistant will be required to assist with daily setups both on and offsite, perform general proactive and reactive maintenance of building, gardens and grounds as directed. Applicants must have a trade background and previous experience in a general maintenance/handyman role is essential. Experience in a School environment would be advantageous. We are seeking a candidate who demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills, displays initiative and an ability to work both independently and as part of a team and manage their time effectively.A current full driver’s licence is essential and all applicants must have a Working with Children Check and be willing to undertake a Police Check.
