School Psychologist – Part Time Junior School

St Catherine’s School, Toorak is one of Australia’s leading independent girls schools, fostering in students curiosity, perseverance and empathy.We are seeking an experienced Junior School Psychologist to commence in Term 4, 2019 in an ongoing, part time role. Candidates must have previous experience within a school environment working with young children and be fully registered as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia.The Junior School Psychologist will work closely with the Junior School Leadership team to provide counselling services to students to support their psychological, emotional and physical wellbeing. The School Counsellor is integral to the development and implementation of programs and policies to foster long-term wellbeing in our students.The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively with students, parents and staff.
