About the Role An exciting opportunity exists for a committed and dynamic professional to join our School community in January 2025. This term-time only position offers the chance to make a significant impact on our Netball while maintaining a balanced work schedule.As the Head Coach of the St Catherine’s Netball Club (STCNC), you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of a comprehensive training and match play strategy across all teams, from U9s to U17s. With over 100 players, this role plays a key part in driving the success of the club by ensuring a consistent and high-quality approach to coaching and player development.In this leadership position, you will manage and support a team of netball coaches, providing guidance, feedback, and fostering a collaborative environment. You’ll also work closely with the Netball Club Coordinator, Head of Sport, and Head of Junior School Sport to align the club's goals with the broader vision of St Catherine's.This role requires a strong commitment to fostering a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and adherence to the School's values and traditions. To be successful in this opportunity you will require: Previous experience coaching Netball at various levels and relevant coaching qualificationsDemonstrated experience managing a netball program including the ability to strategically plan, monitor and evaluate programs and manage a cohort of coachesDemonstrated ability to effectively mentor beginner coaches and progress coaches through a recognised coaching pathwayA thorough and practical understanding of current trends and professional practices in coaching principles and netball developmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPolice Record CheckWorking with Children Check or registration with the Victorian Institute of TeachingMinimum Level 2 First aid qualification Why work for us?
