About the Role Reporting to the Director of Business, the Facilities Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of all building and equipment maintenance, security, risk and compliance, facilities, and services management, including cleaning and grounds maintenance throughout the school campus.St Catherine’s School is proud of its heritage buildings, gardens and grounds and the Facilities Manager will be expected to develop and maintain a proactive approach to the management and supervision of reactive and programmed maintenance and cleaning works.With experience in project and contractor management, the Facilities Manager will work in consultation with the Director of Business in the planning and implementation of the minor capital works program and support major redevelopment projects.A strong leader and communicator, the Facilities Manager will be responsible for the Maintenance team (3 full time employees plus casual staff as required) and is expected to lead by example and exhibit a "hands on" approach, as needed.As the primary contact for all facility issues, OHS essential services compliance, security monitoring and emergencies, the Facilities Manager will be contactable outside of normal business hours.
